Spaghetti

This is a good meal that has a lot of calories for the space it takes in your backpack. You can use your favorite spaghetti sauce. I use spaghetti or angle hair pasta, because it packs smaller.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. pasta (Spaghetti)
  • 6 oz. dried spaghetti sauce leather (6 oz. before drying)
  • 12oz. water

Directions

  1. Add water to the pot, then rip up the spaghetti sauce leather into small pieces and put into the water.
  2. Add the pasta and cook per package directions, stiring occasionally.
  3. Add more water if needed to complete the cooking of the pasta
  4. Eat. Could also add salt/pepper or parmesean cheese if available.
