So, when should I call the van build complete? Today I finished the last seven shelves, which pretty much finishes the construction of the van. I then switched gears to installing some of the items that I had purchased for the van. I installed the Lagun table and the curtains behind the driver and passenger seats. I spent some time after dinner brainstorming a list of small items that I need to install, and I’ll start working on those tomorrow. So, I think I’ll give it one more day of work to install these items and then finish this blog. I’ll do a complete summary with lots of statistics, but it may take me a while to post that one.
Here is a picture of some of the shelves I made with the shelf liner material added. My hope is this shelf liner, which is a thin foam material, will minimize things shifting around on the shelf.
And here is a picture of the installed Lagun table. This will be my primary eating/working surface. The table is very flexible to move around into different heights and locations.
