I was too busy yesterday to work on the van, but I was back at it today (even though I didn’t have a lot of time). My focus was on creating the galley for the van. I used my detailed plan to cut the aluminum extrusion pieces that I needed. Then I drilled holes and tapped the ends in many of the pieces of extrusion. I then used fasteners to connect all the pieces together and form the frame of the galley module. I test fit it into the van and it fit perfectly. Here is what it looked like in the van.
It took about four hours to accomplish this work. I wish I had more time, but there is always tomorrow. Next I’ll be working on cutting out the wood panels for around the galley.
