The wire lugs that I needed arrived last night. So, today I created the last two wires that I needed to connect power to my electrical system. I flipped the big red switch to turn the sytem on, and it worked!! Super excited!!

I checked out all the electrical devices, and they all worked. The lights, outlets, air conditioner, Maxair fan, everything! Then I worked to configure the system using a combination of my phone app and the touch screen on the electrical cabinet. I plugged in an extension cord to the shore power plug in the van and was able to charge the batteries from the house. I started up the van and with a little grief was able to charge the batteries from the van alternator. Then I went up on the roof of the van and connected up the solar panel wires and was able to charge the batteries from the solar panels as well.
While I was up on the roof of the van, I also mounted and connected the StarLink antenna and tested that it worked, which it did. The switch I put on the StarLink worked as well, so I can turn it off when it is not being used.
I’m super excited that all the electrical stuff works and is behind me. This is a major milestone in the van build. I consider the van operational now that I have a bed and electricity.
Tomorrow I should receive the parts to move on to creating the kitchen module.
Great news!!!
It all is working!!
Super exciting.
