I had a lot of appointments today that kept me away from working on the van. I was able to put together some small time blocks to make some progress.
In the morning, I spent an hour finishing the routering of the shorter L-Track channel in the subfloor plywood. I didn’t make it wide enough at first, and had to take an additional pass with the router to widen the channel a little. But, overall I was happy with the result. Here is a picture of what the L-Track looks like in the slot. I won’t secure the L-Track to the floor until later in the build – sometime after I install the linoleum flooring over the subfloor.

Later in the afternoon, I put in some time on routering out the channel on the second sheet of plywood. I made it about half way through this channel before I had to stop for another appointment. I put together a few 15 minute blocks of time and was able to finish the channel on the second board. I also was able to add lugs to the end of the battery wire that showed up yesterday. I’ll try to install these wires in the van tomorrow.

Overall, I was only able to spend less than three hours working on the van. But, each day I make more progress. It will eventually come together. All it takes is time and pressure.
