BBQ Chicken

This very simple recipe is always a hit with my family. Just put it in the crock pot in the morning and it’s ready for dinner that night. I took this from NatashasKitchen.com and mostly just changed the BBQ sauce to better suit my taste.

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs chicken breasts
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce (I use Sweeet Baby Rays – Sweet & Spicey)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions
  • Stir together all the ingredients in the crock pot
  • Add chicken breasts and cover with sauce
  • Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours depending on the size of the chicken breasts. Could cook on high for 2 to 3 hours, if in a rush.
  • Remove chicken and pull apart with two forks. I should be tender enough to easily pull apart, if not cook it longer. Place shredded chicken back in the crockpot and keep warm until serving.
